A FRIENDLY WARNING :

Most legitimate talent agencies will provide a professional photographer and prefer you to use their in-house photographer free of charge in order to find your child/teen modeling/acting casting calls or jobs. If your “agent” is trying to have you pay for portfolio services, it may be a red flag that they are not really an agent but a “school” or portfolio services provider.

We are very concerned about confusion with various organizations that may misrepresent themselves to the public. We have heard many stories of parents who flew long distances to engage with an organization they thought was a talent agency looking to sign their child/teen to represent them and find them work. Parents have told me they thought they were dealing with a talent agency but later found out they were asking for $800 for photos, and to have their child/teen singed up for cat walking classes, or other other services. Schools can be legitimate organizations, but should not to be confused with a modeling/talent agency that will seek out work for you.

Modeling agencies can be difficult to break into. They are searching through 100’s if not 1000’s of applicants to find the ones they believe they can make money with.
